No commentsAVAST!-Free Anti Virus Software
For a free anti virus solution, you cant go far wrong with Avast! I’m posting this on the assumption that you know some form of anti virus protection is not an option, its a must.
Where Avast! excels is in its near invisible footprint. This software scans in real time, forward checks your links for malicious web pages, scans p2p traffic and mail/newsgroups, yet you will hardly even notice it’s their. This makes it the ideal tool for anyone who spends a lot of time surfing a large variety of sites, visiting new links and downloading zip/rar/exe files.
Get it direct from Avasts’s own page here.
Please note that you will have to supply a valid email address every now and then to keep getting updates. I can verify that Avast! does not supply any of this information for spam or marketing so it’s completely anonymous.
